Weight Loss/Workout Routine Help??

Looking for anyone willing to give help or advice for a most effective meal/work out plan. I am a female, 18 years old, 5"4 and currently weigh 168 lbs. My goal is to make a weight loss transformation by the summer. I would like to make my goal to weigh around 130-140 lbs by May-June. I have been trying my own workouts and dieting and lost 6lbs since the beginning of the month, but I am worried that I may not be going about this the correct way in terms of the type of weight loss and transformation i am working towards. If anyone is willing to help out and show me the most effective routine I can stick to each day to reach this goal it would be GREATLY appreciated!!

In the gym I participated in aerobic class. Circuit training. ( minimum time at each machine w maximum weight and used the rowing machine. I used to go every night. I'm 53 yrs old and have my weight under control and good measurements. It's a lifestyle not just temporary. So enjoy your work outs and your new eating habits. Maxy

thanks so much! I will definitely keep that in mind to have smaller meals more times a day. I do have many outdoor activities but I am looking for a workout I would be able to do at the gym every day that would be the most helpful and effective for the kind of weight I am trying to lose.. I will definitely keep you updated with my progress, and thank you again for the help!

I like Jazzercise. Swimming. Waterskiing. Wakeboarding. Walking my dog.
Yoga is good too. Pick things you'll do everyday.
It's hard for me to exercise alone but you may have the discipline to work out with a DVD. Oh. Bike riding too.
Do you like sports like tennis or racketball?
As for what you eat. Always choose color over white. That means dark veggies. Fruits. Lean protein. Forget sugar. White bread. Rice. Pasta. Potatoes.  Watch your portion control too. 5 tiny meals instead of 3 big meals boosts your metabolic rate. Good luck. Keep us posted on your progress.
