Do you have acsess to a pool as pools can provide a low impact way to exercise. just walking in a pool or moving around in any way is a great way to loose weight. The resistance of the water is the same as using light weight to work out with out the pain that lifting weights can cause. You can also work strenghtening your anckles with out risk of falling over and hurting your self. This is how I got back on my feet fully after I seriously rolled my anckle it took 6mth to stop limping compleatly but the pool helps me maintian exercise even with the bad anckle.
I totally agree with kittengamer; you should see your doctor and ask if s/he has a routine that you can do sitting down. If you have pain in your feet, you don't want to stress them even more. Yes, you might think about yoga, because, although a lot of it is done standing, it's very low impact and will put minimum pressure on your body. It's also great for relaxing.
You might be able to start just sitting down and doing leg raises and arm raises. Don't forget, any type of movement is good.
In addition, make sure you cut back on your food intake. You might want to implement the food diary, which is available here on MH, in which you record everything you eat, so you can tell if there are areas in which you need to increase or decrease calories.
The exercise and weight trackers are also good.
Losing 34lbs in one month is a huge weight loss! What is your diet?
If you can, see a doctor or go to a clinic. Not all exercise is right for everyone & if you have pain, then getting a professional opinion would be best. I know that there are plenty of exercises that can be done sitting down & they may be able to give you a routine that doesn't put stress on your feet. Yoga may be good for you.
Don't give up!
