I meant by muscles
And I meant that it would help prevent the escalation of a spider vein problem.
I only added my weight because no one I talk to believes a hypo person can be skinny--I always get that...even one of my doctors mentioned it.
After your levels are situated, you should be able to lose the weight. Be patient and good luck:)
Your levels probably aren't right or something. I am hypo and have no problems maintaining my weight--5'6 @ 105lbs.
Try a diet lower in fat and more exercise.
Spider veins can be from surges in estrogen--fat holds onto estrogen. Also, they can be caused my muscles failing to squeeze the vessels enough for the blood to travel back up to the heart--so it pools and leaks into capillaries. Exercise and weight loss will help the escalation of spider veins.
Take Care.
