Congratulations! My advice is slow and steady, your hormones are still adjusting and you're recovering from major abdominal surgery plus sleep deprivation. For now make every calorie count, fill up with high fiber, high calcium foods and as much leafy greens you can get your hands on. Your body looks different now imagine how your insides feel they need recovery time too. Start with abdominal core strengthening , floor excercises, and low impact aerobics. Try to wake up before the baby to get some you time. Then nap in the afternoon if you can. I recommend buying some new workout clothes, a good sports bra and home workout videos to get you motivated!
I would first start with some yoga and flexibility exercise. Even though you are cleared for activity I know personally my incision was still pretty sensitive in spots. I've been using the hot 5 app. I have an iPhone though. If you have a droid my friends can't find it..
Well i lost 30lbs but have 30 to go i live in texas but its been real cold outside plus shes only 6weeks old
I am also in the same boat as you. My lil one was delivered via c-section 6 weeks and 1 day ago. My tummy makes me feel yucky and I want it gone asap! Any tips you get, please pass along. :) congrats to you on your bundle of joy!
Congrats!!! I remember those days... I have had two kids by csection... I don't know where you live but what about walking with your little one in the stroller. Remember now that your little one is in your arms and not in your belly your calorie in take should go down and you should lose some of the weight that way. My youngest is 16 mnths old...
Good luck...
