I have done Weight Watchers both ways. I feel that when you get weighed in and go to the meetings is the better way to go. However, right now I am doing it online. (there isn't a meeting close enough to where I live now). It has been working out great for me! I have lost 8 pounds in three weeks! I like tracking my food and activity on-line. I feel pro-active that way. I also like getting all the recipes. Also, it isn't that expensive. It is about 16 dollars a month which isn't bad at all. I really do enjoy it! If you join, let me know. We can be buddies!
