I want to loose 10 pounds
I m 37 years old and my weight is 155 pounds
I m purely vegeteraion please advice what foods eill help me yo loose the weight
I'm far from being an expert on vegetarian, but I know that some do eat certain animal products, such as dairy and/or eggs........ Do you eat any animal products at all?
Soy is generally thought to be a good source of protein, though now, studies are showing that might not be the case... if you do soy, you can use tofu in many dishes, drink soy milk, try almond or rice milk, etc. Beans are another good source of protein.... spinach is high in calcium and iron.
You might want to supplement vitamin B12 and calcium if you don't eat any animal products.
All of that said, 10 pounds is not much to lose; you might be able to do that simply by cutting portion sizes and ramping up your exercise a bit.
Forgot to mention -- you didn't say how tall you are, so be sure you really do need to lose that 10 pounds. You might just need to tone up your muscles, so they look long and lean. Yoga's great for that.
