You need to calculate the actual number of calories you need/day, which depends on your age, height, weight and current activity level.
At 15. your body may not be completely developed, so you need to be very careful losing weight. You need to determine a reasonable goal weight and work toward that.
Breakfast really IS the most important meal of the day and you should always make sure you eat it. Also, giving up snacks like candies, cakes, cookies, sodas, chips, etc can go a long way toward helping you lose. Drink water instead of soda or fruit juice. Eat raw carrots, celery and other veggies instead of candy; an apple, pear, piece of cheese instead of cake or cookies. Limit or eliminate white bread, pasta, etc. Opt for whole grains instead of things made from white flour or sugar.
Make sure you get some exercise every day.
You should also have your doctor do some simply blood tests to make sure you don't have a medical condition that could cause weight gain/inability to lose. Those could include hypothyroidism, insulin resistance and/or PCOS.
Starters eat breakfast, it curbs the hunger during the day, suppressing some of those snacking feelings you get. Basically You need to be aware of what is going in your mouth and what exercise your doing. typically you need to eat about 2000 calories a day, so why not try 1500, and maybe keep dropping it down by 10 every few days, but don't go past 1000 because then your body goes into starvation mode, where it will then store fat more as an insurance policy. Then just do the same with exercise, start with light for 30 minutes maybe 3 times a week, and as you progress you can then increase times, intensity, and the amount each week. hope this helps. And change exercises, try different things to keep you interested. Dance workouts are good. Good Luck.
Hi there daiisyy,
You say you " have a bad habit and you don't like to eat breakfast".
That's more than just a bad habit. Think of breakfast like fuel for your body.
It's really advisable to have protein, some carbs and maybe some fruit
for breakfast. The protein will also helps you think and gives you energy
as does the carbs. As for going to the gym, you don't have to go everyday.
Walking is one of the best exercises you can do. Don't forget to drink plenty of water. It's also important to have some healthy snacks during the day
to keep up your blood sugar. If you don't have breakfast, I would bet
by lunch time, you're really hungry. It's actually much healthier to have a
breakfast like the one I descibed as well as healthy snacks. Good luck,
