Hi there. Well, if you are not wishing to have a child at this time, you DO have options. I'm sorry you are not happy about he pregnancy (or at least that is what I'm inferring).
You can consider abortion. This option can be done surgically or medically with medication. If that is the option you choose to go with, you should begin deciding where to go for that to get it done as soon as possible. This eliminates this pregnancy completely and you can go on with your life -- and then have a family with someone that is going to be around or at a better time.
You could have the baby and give it up for adoption. This can be such a nice thing to do for a couple that can't have kids of their own. However, you do have to go through the entire pregnancy. But after that, you can go on with life and start a family later of your own.
Or you can keep the baby. If dad won't be around either by his being overseas or by his choice, you may have to make plans for how to raise the child all on your own. Having a good plan is essential for that.
But this is your life and you must do what is best for you. I'm here if you need any help! good luck
Are you sure someone commits to being overseas for the next 15 *years?* Not months? Are you sure he is not just pulling your leg?
And when you say "what are my options for the baby," do you mean, can you go to his base commander and get a DNA test and then when the test proves he is the dad, can you get child support? Probably. But if that is not what you mean, I'm afraid I am not answering the question.
