I know that there are ways to help regulate your period while trying to conceive but right now nothing comes to mind. Definitely talk to your dr and have some hope. My friend found out that her irregular periods that she had since she started was due to a folic acid deficiency. She started taking it and was able to have both normal periods and conceive. You never know what could be causing your problem and there are many things they can do now a days to help.

An irregular period is many times caused by a hormonal imbalance -so a pretty easy and quick way to try to regulate a period is birth control. I suggest you talk to your doctor about what can be done for your irregular period and if some sort of birth control might work for you.
