3 days late and negative pregnancy test

My LMP was on 1/23/06.(28 Day Cycle) Ovulated on Feb 5. Had Sex Feb 5th. I did not know that I ovulated until the 6th, no BC. I am late getting my period by 3 days. I have had  several false pregnancy tests. I feel queasy, slight discomfort in my boobs, and menstual type cramps for about 1 1/2 weeks. I have also noticed that I am breaking out on my back like I did when I was pregnant with my son. When I was pregnant before the test showed up postive before I was late. It is not like me to be late. However I am having the cramps that keep sending me to the bathroom thinking that AF has come again. I dont know if I should go take a blood test or if 3 days isnt enough time? Any suggestions or similar stories? Mellisa

I'm new on here.  I am 30 years old and was on the pill since I was 23.  I stopped taking the pill at the end of November since my husband and I decided we would start trying to have a baby soon.  I got my normally scheduled period a few days later and then a normal cycle later got it the 1st of January.  All seemed fine until 9 days after my period ended I started spotting which lasted for 19 days from Jan 17-Feb 4!  My OB/Gyn said it was probably my body adjusting to being off the pill which I figured was true. I finally got a normal period Feb 22.  My husband and I then started trying to get pregnant though I never had a positive ovulation test.  I am now on day 31 and no idea when my period is even supposed to show up since it's been so off this year.  I took a HPT and it came up negative.  Not sure if it's too early to show a positive yet or if my period is even considered missed yet.  Very confused...any thoughts???

I am 8 days late and have always been regular with 28-29 day cycle.  I took 2 HPT, one on 3rd day late and one on 6th day late with both BFN.  Had tubal reversal one year ago and have had not pregnancies since.  My breasts are heavy and larger, I am bloated and have been having cramps since 3 days before AF was due.  I have my annual physical scheduled for April 23rd, should I wait until then to have blood test. I have never tested before 3 months with my other children so I do not know if a HPT would have be positive previously this early.  Any suggestions?
