hi. im really sorry to hear what happened and what you are going through.i simply cannot imagine. hope you have lots of support. the dr's will find a way to determine the cause and help you. this happens to many woman including a close friend of mine. well, now she has 3 children after taking medication to make the lining of her uterus thicker? does that make sense? i cant be sure if thats exactly what they needed to do but it will happen for you too. all the best.
Just to update I have had another miscarraige, they did hcg tests on tuesday it was 10,000 and thursday it had gone down to 9,000. I am booked in for a d&c tuesday morning. As this is my third missed miscarriage they should take the embryo for testing, this I hope gives me some answers. I have had no other spotting since the first time. I just cant believe this has happened again, they said as the implantations are realy good it sounds as though it would be due to chromosonal problems. Does anyone know what and if there is anything they can do for that
Thankyou so much for your time and effort
6 weeks is still pretty arly to hear the heartbeat..the first time the dr got picked my babies heart beat i was about 14 weeks along..it all depends on the positioning of the baby too..and at 6 weeks..ya figure its only like th seize of your finger nail..so i wouldnt worry..give it time.then as soon as you do hear it, you'll probably cry..i know i did!! god luck, i wish you all the best :D
if you have any worries, dont be afraid to voice them, we'll be here for you. like i said, i worried about everything and pregnancy can be scary no matter what, how old you are, or how many you've been through. let us know the next time you have a dr. appt and how it went okay?
Thanks for your coments, it helps to know that there is somewhere that you can discuss worries. Its just with the last 2 missed miscarriages we could see the heartbeat then.
Oh cross all fingers and toes
hi. if i discovered this forum during my pregnancy i think i would have been writing in inquiring about EVERYTHING and drove you all nuts. i worried throughout my entire pregnancy and 3 years later, im still worrying. i too, was scared about the fact that the dr. may not hear the heartbeat the 1st time i went in. that appt. was at 12 weeks. even at 12wks.the dr. may not hear it. i think 6 weeks may be too early to hear anything so dont be too worried at this point.
Helen,
Give it some more time. I know it is hard not to worry and expect the worst, but you should know in another week. I'm sorry you are going through this.
