Advicesudden lower abdominal pain and frequent urination

On Sunday night I woke at 3:45 to sharp pain in my lower left abdomen, I was lying on my left side at that point and rolled over to my right which eased the pain a little but not enough. I went to use the washroom but that didn’t ease my pain, and tried lying on both my right and left sides but the left was much worse. I ended up lying on my back and the pain continued. I tried the press down test to try to see if it was appencitis but it didn’t hurt to release when I pressed on my lower tummy. The pain abated and i was able to sleep ‘til 8. My Monday was normal but I put a hot compress on my abdomen during the morning. Tuesday however I noticed that I’m urinating much more than usual and not having much more to drink than usual, ex: I went pee before heading home, had to pee by the time I got home, and peed again right after dinner. I’ve even gotten up again at 3 am to pee, which is not normal. There feels like a pressure in my lower abdomen (bit like a balloon?) not painful but persistent, I’ve had some gas but I’ve been pooping normally. I had a bit of similar pain for just a moment tonight (after peeing at 3 am) and besides that my sleeping tonight has been very restless. If anyone has any insight I’d appreciate it.

I think you should see our doctor.  Kidney and bladder infections can be like this.  You may just have a gassy intestinal track putting pressure on your bladder (or be constipated).  That really could be the cause but if it goes on another day, I'd go to the doctor. good luck

Thanks for replying, it may take 3 weeks if I try to book an appointment with my doctor. Do you think it’d be in my best interest to go to a walk-in clinic if this persists?
I'd give it a few days, but if it does, then yes.  I am really guessing you are constipated to be honest.  Even if you have bowel movements, you can still be constipated.  If it starts to hurt WHILE you are peeing, then go to the walk in clinic right away for kidney, UTI where you'd need antibiotics.  Otherwise, see if this resolves. good luck
