Thanks everyone. The doc told me I can take it out for a few hours. But no it's not a yeast infection. It's actual soreness. But it's probably from pushing up every so often. Thanks again.
I use nuvaring. Only irritation Ive ever had if it slips down & we have sex I can feel it. Make sure you have it pushed up as far as you can. Other than that Ive never had a problem. No emotional or physical effects.
Do you have any discharge that would indicate a yeast or bacterial infection? I have heard that being on the ring it is easier to aquire these types of infection. The only problem I have had with the ring when I first started using it was that I always felt like it was falling down and moving closer to the opening and that I needed to push it back up. The other problem I had but that didn't start till after a month was that it became uncofortable to have sex. At first I never notcied it but then it started to feel like it was being pushed against my cervix. The doctor told me I could take it out for 3 hours at a time and then put it back in and that helps. But I am prone to getting infections and feel like this will increase my chances of getting one. I don't know if maybe you are having itchiness or a pain from sex but that might be the problem.
Some internal and external. At first it was mainly external. But that has already stopped. But the internal one still hasn't.
I'm on the nuvaring, but exactly what kind of irritation are you refering to?
I know "Learner1" is a ring user. Hopefully she logs on and sees your question.
