Since I was 13(almost 7 years ago) I was getting spontaneous breast discharge out of both breasts. It started with the right(clear discharge) then the left(green and white), now the right again(white). Last June I had a left breast duct removal because they had finally taken a sample of the breast discharge(white and green) and found atypical cells. Going in they thought they would find a papilloma. They never found anything and the tissue came back benign. Now a year later white discharge is coming out of my right breast and it's painful. They tested it and there are atypical cells. I don't understand why I had atypical cells in both discharge samples form both breasts. And I don't understand why I am having breast discharge with atypical cells in it if there isn't a papilloma or any other masses in my breast. I have had multiple ultrasounds with no answers. No cysts, no masses, no papilloma. My doctors are stumped and can't give me any answers. They don't know if they will operate or not to remove the duct. Does anyone else have advice? Have you been through something similar? It's scary not knowing what's wrong.
