Birth Control + Missed Period?

Ive been on birth control for exactly 3 months now. Its not the very strong kind, it was suposed to be just for helping with my acne. But about 4 days before i was suposed to start i had sex. We used a condom but we had a little accident. My periods have been normal since i started taking the pills but now (im suposed to be on my period) i just had a little bit of spotting for 2 days & thats it. Is the birth control causing it or could i be pregnant?

There is a possibility that you could be.. It could have been implantation bleeding..  Take a hpt and if comes out negative.  Take one every week until you get your period or until you get 2 lines.

thanks for the help.
but do you think th pills could be causing it? ive heard that birth control can cause you to miss a period.
I'm also VERY active, which i know can cause some people to have shorter or miss periods.

I've had cramps in the past day or two and felt like i would on my period.. Is there still a possibility that my body is just getting used to new things?

I'm not really sure and I don't want to answer and be wrong.  Ya know.  Ummm on Aug.  I started my first b/c ever... ( ortho-tryciln lo.. ) I think that is how its spelled.  Any who I got on them to get my hormones on track because i'm trying to get prego and can't seem to get there.  And my ob/gyn also put me on them because she told me I was anemic which I never knew until now.. Ha but my period I would go through 3 boxes of super plus during my period.  So I have loss alot you would think.  So she told me it will lighten my period.  On the next month sept the week of the 12  I was on my period( I know b/c it was my B-day which that sucked to be on it)  But I quit taking them and I was due my period 5 days ago and its not come yet.  So I don't know girly.  I feel like I'm going to start too but nothing.  But if you are prego its probably to early to tell.  I have been told that some people it don't show until 16 weeks.. So you never know.  I'm wanting to find out if I am but I'm just going to wait until next friday to test to give it more time to show.  Ya know.  But good luck.. Sorry this is long.... :)

I'm on Loestrin 24.  And it has shorten my period.  I've been on it for 6 years now.  In fact, I can go a month without having a period.  The first time it happened, it freaked me out, I had just gotten married and my husband and I had not planned on having a child that soon.  My doctor told me it was absolutely normal.  Sure enough, next month I got it.  Also, instead of going 7 days on a period, I'm usually 4 days.
