Birth control question?

Hi, I'm 15 and my mom is putting me on the birth control patch. And we are going soon to see the doctor for the patch in about a week I think so I would just like to know everything that I might need to know about it before we go in. So this way if I have any questions I can ask her and at least know something. So any information about the patch would be useful thank you.

Hi there.  The patch is a good choice when taking pills every day religiously is difficult.  It takes that element out of the equation as the patch lasts 30 days.  It is very effective.  However, unlike the shot that some women get, you can remove the patch should you have a bad side effect from the hormones.  Sounds like a good idea to get on this form of birth control.  Good luck
