Bleeding After Intercourse

I am sixteen years old and I have had sex four times with my current boyfriend. He is the first person I have ever had sex with and we were both virgins. I hadn't bled until after the fourth time. But it is the day after and I am bleeding alot, not just spotting. My mom doesn't know I am sexually active so I am scared to see a doctor. Please tell me if this is normal or if something is really wrong.

When is your period due? Sometimes intercourse around the time of your period can result in bleeding due to the changes in your cervix.

Some bleeding can be normal after rough sex when you're not very experienced, but usually it's not a lot of blood.

I understand that you're afraid of telling your mother, but she's your best source for information aside from your doctor. If you really don't want to tell her, try getting ahold of your doctor yourself and asking a few questions. It never hurts to be safe.

I had that and it was after rough sex.. I went to my doctor and he told me if I was not relaxed it would hurt a lot more and maybe he was just being too rough. Is your period coming shortly? If so that could be a possiblity. I can relate to what you are saying when you say you are scared. My parents have no clue either.
I would go in and get it checked out just to make sure you didnt tear anything inside.
