Breast tissue in underarm

I have a lump on my underarm.  It is not painful but it is ugly and it makes me very self conscious.  When I got pregnant it really got big and filled with milk my doctor said it was breaast tissue that traveled into my armpit and that as long as it didn't hurt it really wasn't anything to worry about.  It just looks like extra baggy skin and as a result I can't wear sleeveless tops.  I've never known anyone else who has this to ask what they think or feel.  My husband thinks if it bothers me so much I shyould have it removed.  I am scared and want to know what the health risks are.  Does anyone else have this problem?  Shat should I do about it?

wonderful news, i had my surgury on Friday, March 25th.  heres how it went.  i arrived at the hospital for 1pm, signed my consent forms, had my incisions drawn and changed clothes for the surgery.  At approx. 2:20 i was escorted to the operating theatre where i was prepped and then injected.  i awoke at approx. 5:30pm in the recovery room and was totally pain free.  i did however have some obvious discomfort as expected.  i could comfortably raise my hands above my head but had some difficulty reaching lower to my feet.  I was discharged at approx. 6:30pm with a perscription for some paracetamol and morbid.  (never heard abour that one Before)   After reaching home and having my forst eats, nothing too heave, i promptly vomited and then my stomach settled.  on saturday morning i was able to attend a wedding and a party on Saturday night.  In no way was my movements restricted.  Immediately i can see the differrence under my armpit.  My doctor die the incision a little ways under the armoit line so it is closer to my breasts but still not too visible.  i have to remove teh slight bandage tomorrow( Tuesday) but alreadu i am so happy with the results.  Will post photos later
