Bumps and yeast infection

Hey ya'll . Ok, here's my question, I am 18 years old and I am not a sexually active person. I am somewhat prone to yeast infections but i normally have a lot of discharge anyway. I'd say about the end of October I started itching a lot down there, and thought the usual, it may just be normal and i would wait until it went away. To make a long story short, i kept thinking the uncomfortable feeling would go away but it would always come back. I had lots of discharge and itching until one day i'd say about the beginning of january I noticed a few bumps near like where it opens. I know this sounds gross but i am just completely dumbfounded as to what they are from. I thought maybe at first they were like ingrown hairs or something but they never went away. Like they haven't gotten worse or better in the past like 2 months. You can't really notice them unless you feel them, but it just worries me. I was looking up some things online and saw that if a yeast infection is untreated, it can lead to bumps and rashes of the skin that it infects also. I used some 3 day monistat about 2 weeks ago and the discharge is cleared but the bumps stayed the same?? I'm so embarrassed and I just want to know if anyone can relate, or has any advice?? thanks yall

i dont know if i have a yeast infection or not i only have one sign of it and thats the itching. its really starting to get irritating and i want it to go away so i told my mom and she wants to take me to the doctor to actually see what the problem is. The only issue i have with it is just if the doctors check me out i dont want them to tell my mom that im sexually active. i never had to go to the doctor for this sort of thing and im just wondering of their going to let her know that ive actually had sex before.

Hey girl- i did both. I like used the applicator to put the cream inside and put some on the outside. Thank you so much for writing. Ok I know this sounds nasty lol- but what did your bumps look/feel like? like small big? how many? where at? lol sorry im being so graphic im just like an extremely paranoid person and I don't wanna have to tell my mom hey- i have bumps down there, i need to go to the dr. and her think i may have herpes or something? b/c you kno like whehn someone says they have bumps you think herpes automatically lol or at least i used to. yeah but just get back to me when ever you can thanks girl

no problem.... well it felt kinda like raised skin, but it was very tender and painful ( like salt to a wound). There were like two of those mentioned above and then when i would look in a mirror you could see like a tiny rash near the opening and was very tender to the touch. I must say though, if the applicator didn;t work then i really reccomend that you go to the doctor. Just to have some peace of mind. You shoudnt worry abut herpes so much if you are not sexually active. Anyways there should be free clinics in your area, and if not you can just tell you mom that u feel like you have a yeast infection or something and im sure she will understand.Just know that eventually it WILL go away, but the sooner you can get to a doctor the better. Look at me, i spent 3 months torturing myself and suffering thinking i was never gonna get better, and i finally wored up the courage to go, and i was gone withing 3 days. I wish you the best of luck and you can email me at ***@**** if you want to ask me anything else. Peace
