Can a period cycle be extended or shorten on different months

My period cycle is 23 days, and my the first day of my last period was October 3rd throu the 6th. I was suppose to start again October but I didn't. If I start this month tomorrow it will be way more then a 23 day cycle. Is that normal??

Hi,
I believe you're still in the 'normal' range; average menstrual cycle occurs between 21 to 35 days. It's not unusual for women who have regular cycles, to have an irregular cycle every once in awhile. Keep in mind that if you become stressed about your period being late, it can possibly delay your period even longer. If you're concerned about the risk of pregnancy, taking a test is the most accurate way to get a definite answer. Good Luck

Hi.  Yes, your period can be longer one month and shorter the next.  This is not uncommon.  Not every woman has a cycle that is like clockwork.   Nothing to worry about.  good luck
