Can you skip more than one?

I have been on bcp's for about 5 months now. The first few months my periods were normal (starting on the day they should). The last one i had started one day later. Then the next month i skipped a period, except for very light spotting. I know some people with a low dose pill skip periods so i was not worried. This past month however, i skipped another one, except for the very light spotting i could only see when i wiped. I haven't heard of anyone missing two in a row. Does this happen often?

I actually just went through this this past weekend, Ive been on BC for three months and missed a period, it can happen. But since you have missed two in a row, I would highly recommend taking a pregnancy test to be sure.  If its negative, then I would go on taking the pills, but if you miss three, I would call the doctor to make sure theres no problem.

I am sure it does happen often. What pill are you taking? As long as you know you are not pregnant, I would not worry.
