Can you take any antibiotics for PID?

Ok, so i just found out my ex was fuckin around on me and was informed that i Might have caught something...well...i was wondering for clymedia and gunarea can be treated with any anitbiotics??? I know i should go to the doctors...and i will...i just want to know so i can do something now about it...

Oh, no you cant take any antibiotics for PID.  PID is treated immediately with antibiotics for at least 1 week. Sometimes PID is caused by more than one type of bacteria and a combination of antibiotics that are effective against a range of bacteria are usually prescribed. PID may require hospitalization.

tetracyclines, azithromycin or erythromycin for chlamydia

Antibiotics called cephalosporins, including Ceftriaxone (Rocephin), are recommended for persons with gonorrhea. A medicine called Azithromycin (Zithromax) may be given to persons with uncomplicated infections. Rocephin is giving as a shot.

You are better off going to the dr or emergency room for treatment bcuz you need to different medications for the diseases.

Also, you need to no what it is you caught, b4 trying to treat it.  Hope that helps
