Clomid not working

I am 35 and have been on Clomis for a few months.  I satrted with 50mg 2 months ago and now upping to 100 on month 3.  50mg was not successful and I was wondering if anyone out there had success when switching to a higher dosage of clomid?  I don't think I have ever ovulated and wondered if there was anyone else out there who may be in the same boat that has success or failure stories.  I want to hear them all.

I did ovulate. However my cycles were over 40 days and by the time I did ovulate the doctor felt the egg was no longer healthy and would unable to be fertilized. Clomid shortened my cycles and brought ovulation on sooner.
