Constant bleeding

Hi There,

I'm just wondering if anyone else out there is in a similar situation to me...
I"m 24 years old and went on the Pill when i was 16, it worked great for the first 2 years and then my doctor changed my pill as it was 3rd generation, ever since i've been getting bleeding (more like brown discharge) while still still taking my pills, before the sugar pill comes up. I went to the doctor and the hospital and had lots of test and no-one knows what is wrong with me, i got switched from pill to pill till finally they took me off when i was 21, after 3 months the bleeding continued to happen so they put me back on and then at 24 my doctor decided to put me on depo (the injection) which for the first 3 months was great, i was so happy to have no bleeding, but then on my second shot i had bleeding for 2 months straight, so i went to my doctor who gave me depo pills to take daily and the bleeding stopped for a week and then i got a booster shot of the pill, and its been 4 weeks with continuous bleeding (spotting i would call it as i dont rarely have to use a tampon) - its just really depressing and annoying. I've even got to the point where i've told the doctors if they dont sort it out i want my overies taken out but of course they wouldnt do that to a 24 year old and i wouldnt actually want them to as i do want kids one day. (its was a threat to make them get their acts together... but it didnt work)
Has anyone been through what i'm going through and if so do you have any advice of what could be going on and what i could do to get my normal periods back?

Any suggestions or help would be great.
Thanks

Thanks for the comment jackie! :-)
One of my friends had an IUD and so far so good, but my doctor has never suggested that to me, so maybe i will ask when i'm next due for an appointment.
The thing about the injection is you have to wait 3 months for it to be out of your system, it ***** so bad! i have some good days and some super bad days - very stressful life!
I was on Yasmin before the injection, that pill did me good for about 2 months and then the bleeding came back, its very strange that everything works for a bit and then decides it doesnt agree with my body anymore.
Goodluck with your Yasmin though, its meant to be a very good pill for this sort of situation - bloody expensive though (well in NZ it is anyway as it isnt subsidised).
