Continued Itch around my "area". crotch!

ok i have noticed after my incedent with my labia swelling, it's all gone down and stuff and i bathe that spot specifically good every night...but the area around it in the back is a little hard and it still itches from time to time...what could it be? I do not have ins. and i know going to the gyno is gonna be a arm and a leg. And i only feel comfortable around my fiance' if im exposing that area...

A couple of thoughts. First, the recovering gland infection or whatever it was might itch a bit before it finally heals, which could take months. If it's tolerable, you can just wait it out. Second, all that washing may be leading to a skin rash. There's not much you can do about the first, but if it's a rash you could try apply lotion or even a topical antibiotic cream. Good luck.

You might have a yeast infection or bacterial infection of some sort. Try to get  monistat or vagisil to try and ease the itching. But you really need to see the gyno. They will probably give you a pill called diflucan which is one pill that kills any fungal or bacteria in 7 days or they will give you flagyl which u will also take for seven days. If you douche at all please stop that. It only erases the bacteria you do need
