Itchy rash on the inside of my vaginal lips?

So about three days ago the skin on the inner lips of my vagina began getting itchy and irritated if I touched them. The area where the rash is feels very leathery and is sort of stiff. I have tried some butt-paste (the kind you use for baby diaper rashes) but it just burns and seems to make it worse. I can only think of two reasons why this might happen; The first is that I just recovered/still have a minor cold, the symptoms of that were coughing, upset stomach, sore throat, and headaches. The other one is that I rode my bike a lot last week, and it has one of those incredibly uncomfortable, slim, hard, racing seats. I am not sexually active in the least, if that has any affect. I also noticed my period is late by at least two weeks. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I'm getting a little worried. Please help.
