Missed period after taking Provera 10mg?

I had non-stop bleeding for about 3 years. I finally went to the doctor and he put me on Provera 10mg for 10 days to stop the bleeding. I started taking it March 18th and finished March 28th. I know that they normally give you Clomid to make sure that you ovulate, but my doctor didn't. It was just the Provera

About three or four days into taking it my bleeding stopped, the next day it started back up. It then stopped again on April 7th or 8th.

Now, it is May 10th and I have not had a period yet.

On the March 25th I had unprotected anal sex (sorry if it is TMI).

My question is: Is having a missed or late period common after taking Provera? Or could I be pregnant?

Not sure if this info will be helpful, but my periods were never normal. Before the non-stop bleeding started in 2008, I was only getting my period about three times a year.

I know that I should see the doctor. But the soonest that he can get me in is in June.
