Hi christie2004 ,

I found that site a couple of weeks back (same nickname) and was actually JUST considering whether to try there- when I saw your message :p Thanks, going to post there!

Someone in the health services here must either be psychic, reading these posts, or someone's been crossing their fingers for me! I got a call from the hospital today about a pilot project. They're hiring an MS expert for 2 days, and arranging for just 8-9 MS patients who they think will benefit the most to have a 40-min appointment.

The practice manager said it's because they 'recognize the MS services here are sorely lacking', with waiting times exceeding 1 year. It's not a clinical/examination meeting. More Q&A session. I may actually get some answers next month!

It doesn't exactly help me at the moment, but I'll survive until then.

Best,
A.
