D and C and menstrual cycle

I had a D and C four weeks ago. I was not preganant, I had the D and C to remove a uterine polyp. When should I expect my period to return?

Hi guys my babys heart stopped for no obvious reason at 19 wks, my doc performed a d&c, i feel terrible about that.  Is it necessary for a doc to perform a d&c or could things have been done a bit differently.  since then i have had 3 more d&c's to remove bone fragments left behind.  my uterus actually has a bone fragment growing into the lining.  i have been trying to conceive for the past 4 years (since my first miscarriage) - has anyone else had a similar incident?

Same thing is happening to me.  I had a d&c and lap surgery on sept 19th and still do not have AF. My breast hurt like rocks and lots of gas but no AF and no signs of her either.
