Hormone problem, endometriosis, std or something else?

Hello. I have been having periods more frequently than usual since the month of January. They normally last for about a week and then leave a gap of about a week and I get my period again. So basically, I get my period twice or thrice a month, with a gap of one week each. The blood is dark when it starts and then gets to its normal color. I met my gyno and she gave me birth control pills, syrup and antibiotics. And also I get really really bad cramps on my lower abdomen, thighs, lower back and really bad headaches and mood swings. Furthermore last year, in the month of December, I had oral sex with a man I hardly knew. It wasn't long. She ate me out for about a minute and I gave him a ******* for less than a minute. Could my problems be std related? Or is it my hormones or could I have endometriosis?
