Has my vagina got an infection?

So I started masturbating at quite a young age and at some point I can’t exactly remember when but I started to notice a smell down there when I sat with my legs open etc, and I thought nothing of it and saw it as the norm ignoring the fact that it smelt bad, I had discharge, it was itchy, that it was sore and that I got spots down there. And I’m also a virgin so I knew it wasn’t an STD. But quite recently I’ve noticed it a lot more and now I’m getting quite concerned. Any ideas?

See your ob-gyn. Especially if you have been inserting things into your vagina. you could certainly have an infection. If it progresses (such as from BV to pelvic inflammatory disease), it can affect your fertility in the future. So take it seriously. The ob-gyn will do some swabs and test you for BV, most likely, and will tell you what to do. If he or she prescribes an antibiotic, take it all, don't just stop when you feel better. If you don't have a gynecologist, see your regular doctor. But it sounds like time to get a gynecologist. And don't worry, the doc won't judge you.
