Does your uterus 'feel different' during early pregnancy?

I ask this question because I "feel" like I am pregnant.  My husband and I are TTC and I have some symptoms of pregnancy such as sore breasts, feeling really tired, a little nausea, etc.  I know these symptoms are also similar to an impending period.  It is too early for me to take a HPT, my period is not due until Oct. 4th or so.  I also have a habit of "tricking" myself into believing I am pregnant based on symptoms, only to be slightly disappointed when I get my period.  However one symptom is different from what I usually have before a period.  I have slight cramping, which is normal for me before a period, but my uterus also feels like "there's something in there."  I can't really describe the feeling, other than it feels "full" I guess.  Sorry for the lack of description.  Anyway, did anyone "feel anything" in the pelvic area when they were in early pregnancy?  Any info would be helpful.  Thanks!

I have also had something similar happen, my husband and I have been TTC for 3 years now with no luck. as far as we know there is no reason we cannot get preg so we still have an emense ammount of hope!
Many times I have tricked my mind into thinking I was pregnant and even once had  a false positive on a home test (very rare so ofcorse it would happen to me lol) only to be dissapointed when I found out otherwise. but this time it is diff, smells and tastes are different to me, subway smells like garbage to me and strawberries taste like they are made with sweet & low and many other odd smells and tastes, and my period instead of being a steady 6-7 days was 4 days long and 2 days of that was pinkinsh brownish spotting and the other 2 days was barely enough for a regular tampon. could this be it...??

I am going threw the same thing. i want to be pregnant so bad. I make up systems in my head. I have one child and it took two months to get pg. I am spoiled. I am tring again. The first month i messed up again and tried to early. I am tring again and I am to scared to take a test and see a negative sign. It can be very upseting. This time i feel something in my pelvic area it feels heavy and when i rub it it feels like something is there.

I am currently pregnant with #4 and I can honestly say that I probably felt something like what you are describing but probably no earlier than around 5 or 6 weeks with all babies. I didn't feel that sensation prior to getting a positive test though. I certainly wish you all the best and hope you do eventually become pregnant but sooooo many women on this and the Maternal board ask similar questions when awaiting to do a hpt to see if they're pg. You admitted that you have tricked yourself on occasions into believing you have many pg symptoms only to end up getting AF and I hate to say it but it's possible that this is another of those occasions and if AF does come then it may be a sensation you won't get an answer to. But for your sake I hope it's a positive!!!

Thanks everyone for the helpful comments.  I'm beginning to think that all of these symptoms just mean i'm getting my perod.  Surprisingly, i'm not that diappointed.  My husband and I have only been TTC for a month or two....so I have time before I really need to begin worrying.  I find similarities in my comments and other people's comment on this board in that it seems we want someone to tell us we are pregnant before we get a positive hpt.  wishful thinking i guess.  lots of baby dust to everyone!
