Double period while on BC??

I am a 22 year old women and last sunday October the 1st I finished my period. It was usual a little heavy in the beginning but then slowed down and I begin my new months dosage of Birth control on Sunday so that is my last day. Then that wed the 4th I began to have this brown discharge which turned into a full blown period. Now I am on BC and have been for over a year and have been always regular so having this happen worries me. Is something serious going on?? Can anyone offer me some sort of advice as to why this would happen??

I'm having that same exact problem now.  I've been on the same pill for over 4 years now and back in August I started to cramp and spot a week to 2 weeks after my period.  So, I go see my gynecologist on Monday to see if I need to change or if there are some other problems.
