Hello,
If both the tubes are blocked then IVF is the best treatment option for you. According to American pregnancy association, IVF is the process of fertilization by manually combining an egg and sperm in a laboratory dish. First of all, Fertility medications are prescribed to control the timing of the egg ripening and to increase the chance of collecting multiple eggs during one of the woman's cycles. Then eggs are retrieved through a minor surgical procedure under ultrasound guidance. Then sperms are obtained by ejaculation and insemination is allowed to occur. In this process, the sperm and eggs are placed in incubators located in the laboratory which enables fertilization to occur. Once this occurs, the fertilized eggs are considered embryos.
Lastly the embryos are usually transferred into the woman's uterus anywhere from one to six days later.
You should consult a fertility expert and get it done.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Sorry, the "of" above was supposed to be "if," in other words, it definitely would have an impact *if* scarring extended into your uterus.
Anyway, my first thought when you said "nobody can give me answers," was "this girl needs to go to an RE; they never stop giving answers." lol
Why haven't you talked to an RE? They'll give you so much information it will make your head spin.
IVF is often used by women who have had their tubes tied. If it can work for them, I can't see why it wouldn't work for a woman whose tubes are blocked. Possibly it depends on whether the blockage was associated with other scarring, and it definitely would have an impact of scarring had extended into your uterus. So, see your doc and get a referral to an RE, or just contact an RE and get an advisory appointment.
Good luck!
