First Time Sex, How Long Do You Spot? 6 Days - Could I be Pregnant?

Hello,

I'm 20/f.  I had sex for this first time March 20th. I did not bleed at the time, but I didn't expect to bleed too much since my hymen broke a couple years ago from someone fingering me (not a good experience).  Today is March 26th.  I've had gentle intercourse twice since the first time.  I've spotted a little over the past few days and then it stopped. The night before last my boyfriend tried to put it in but it hurt too much; so we stopped.   This morning (over a day later) I'm now finding fresh blood on my underwear and i'm pretty sure it's still 'flowing'.  It's been 6 days since Iost my virginity (if you don't count being fingered) and 1 day since I last had sex but I haven't bled this heavily until just now. Is that ok?

I know bleeding and soreness is normal. I ask because I read a while ago that when you get pregnant you spot two days after the egg implants. We used a condom but I don't take birth control. The first time we had sex two days after my period ended and he didn't *** inside of me or around me; so, I thought I was being really safe with timing and contact.  However, given my symptoms i'm pretty worried.  Has anyone else has this experience?  I may be overreacting but I wouldn't know WHAT I would do if I got pregnant.

Hello CR92,

If it's possible, talk to your mom or if you can make a doctor's appointment.
Sometimes soreness is normal, but not bleeding. You say you and your
boyfriend used a condom. You need double protection, CR92. Condoms
are known to break. You're twenty now so if you don't want to get pregnant,
I would go and make an appointment with your family doctor. I would have
a good talk with your doctor. I would tell her any of your concerns including
the fact that you just had sex for the first time etc. I would ask your doctor any questions you need to ask your doctor. You need to be on some form of birth control in my humble opinion. Get the facts from your doctor. Not
everything you read on the internet is the truth unfortunately. Good luck.

actually you spot around the time your period is due. I have experienced implantation bleeding and it happened around the time my period was due and it only lasted a couple of days and it was more like staining than actual bleeding. So the bleeding you were experiencing is totally unrelated to pregnancy and is because of sex.
