First Time Sex

Well, this is very embarrasing,  so lets get it over with.

The other night my boyfriend and I had sex for the first time. And I bled, a lot. I've been sore and spotting for a few days now so I decided to touch and see if i still hurt, but as soon as my fingers penerated just a bit, i began bleeding again. This can't be normal, can it?
P.S It was both our first time, so I don think its an infection.

u bleed when u loose ur virginity b/c ur hymen breaks (a lot of kids say ur cherry pops). its normal to spot for a while and be sore. u may even itch. since it was ur first time and painful u probably had dry sex which caused some internal tears...not a big deal if its minor and that may be y u still are bleeding. but if it is excessive u need to see ur obgyn

It is possible if the sex was rough and agressive. It is also possible to have an infection, regardless if it was both of your first times. Infections can be caused by many things other than an STi. You should consult your physician if this persists.

Actually it does sound like an infection. The bleeding should have stopped after a couple days and should not start bleeding again. Wait another couple days to see if it stops and won't bleed anymore, otherwise I'd make an appointment with your doctor to be looked at. good luck.
