Flagyl and Increased Discharge

Hello. I was diagnosed with BV on Wednesday. I was prescribed four azithromycin pills (which i took that night) and 500mg flagyl twice a day for seven days, which i started on Thursday. Since beginning the antibiotics, I have been experiencing white discharge that I was not having prior to taking flagyl. It is very different than a yeast infection. (I am also on flucan to prevent a yeast infection.) It is creamy and sort of sticky. What is this new discharge? Is it my body trying to get rid of the infection? Am the BV resistant to flagyl?

Take the flagyl, finish the entire course, and then see what your body does.  It will probably come back to normal.
