Can not taking your metformin as told mess up your cycle or could I be Pregnant?
as some of you are aware I have PCOS. I was due for a cycle to start on August 30. It never started it is now ten days late. after three days I took a hpt. It was neg. I did forget to take my metformen a coulple times this month but only once or twice in a two or three day period, maybe more. I was on vacation and for got to bring my afternoon dose with me to the parks, went to disney land. Do you think I might haver a chance of being Pregnant. I am not getting my hopes up. I am supposed to start clomid when this cycle starts. I have been tring to get pregnant for three years now.

sure enough. Get home from Church and she was here! Now I can start my Clomid in a few days and try for a baby this month.
No I am Late August 29 was day fourty of my cycle. August 30 was supposed to be day ONE of my new cycle. If I am late and not pregnant then I would be on day 50 of this cycle. I will go get a another pregnancy test and see what comes of it. Thanks.

I plan on charting my temps when I start a new cycle. My doc gave me a chart and told me to find a murcury themometor. Sorry if spelt it wrong. No, I did not take another test. I called my doctors office and told them that I was already 8 days late and did not know what to make of it cause of the neg test. She told me to wait till I was two weeks late and come in for a blood test. May It was neg cause my Cycles are really long. They are 37 and 40 days apart. But the thing that bothered me the most is that I take metformin three times a day and forgot the noon one a few times on vaction.
I was on Met also and I would forget to take it sometimes and it never messed up my period. Have you taken one since the one you took at three days late? Are you charting your temps?
I don't think it had anything to do with missing a couple Met pills. I am a little confused, are you late, or do you just have long cycles? What cd are you on? I would take another test. Especially if you're a week later than last time you took a test.
As for me, I took a test the day I expected af and got a bfn. I tested 4 days later and got a bfp. Everyone's hormones are different! Good Luck and Baby Dust!! :)
