Help! Burning scalp and hairloss

I have a wierd thing going on...for the last two years I have had steady but slow hair loss and acne, night sweats...I thought it was perimenopause, but in the last couple of weeks, now my scalp burns day and night like it has kerosene on it...the burning moves down into my neck and shoulders. And early in the am, I wake up and can't go back to sleep...My heart starts racing and feels like its going to pound out of my chest. What can this be?

This sounds like a good time to see your doctor.  Hormones can cause hair loss in women and things like PCOS might be something to look into as well.  But I'd speak to your doctor as the pain is concerning.  good luck and please come back and tell us what the doctor says.
