How long did it take you to conceive after Mirena IUD removal?

Has anyone had the Mirena IUD and had it removed to ttc. I am just curious how long it took you to conceive after Mirena IUD removal?  How long until your menstrual cylces were regular? I got my IUD out on Aug 5th and am ttc. I have had lots of spotting and maybe a period but nothing regular.  I called my doc and they said that it takes 3 months before the hormones are out of your system. The mirena website makes it sound as though you can get pregnant anytime after removal.  Any advice/stories would be appreciated.  Thanks.

i used opk last month, had one positive but nowhere near as strong as this months :) ive tried tracking cm but its not always consistent because ive had 3 cone biopsies for cervical cancer removal and that removes most of the mucus glands :(  i feel so lost now, conceived both our children on the first try both times and this time is so different. 3 cones and mirena for four and a half years, seems like the odds are against us. we'll see what happens, ive also been tracking temp so even if it doesnt happen this month ill be able to compare :)

YAY! Hope your guys stuff does it's job!!! lol!!! I have never used OPK so I don't know to much about how they work, It seems normal to me that it would be positive for a couple of days around O because you can convieve for a couple of days around O.  Sorry, wish I knew more about OPK!!
Hope this is it for you!!!
Is this the first month you have used OPK?? Seems like for me, just knowing when I O has been so helpful in getting that BFP!! I usually check CM, CP and cervical texture, and if it is open or not, I just check around the time I am supposed to O and it has helped a lot.

Did you go to baby name genie . com?  You put in the first name and last name and it gives you suggestions.  You can do it over and over till something sounds good.  It is a lot of fun..

I cant wait for my next doc appt to check on the baby, so I have an ultrasound set for monday afternoon at storkvision to get the sneak peak package where they show us the baby and record their heartbeat on to a recorder and put it in a teddy bear.  This way I can hear my own babies heartbeat any time I want, especially when I am feeling worried.  And if God forbid, I loose this baby, at least I have a recording of it's actual heartbeat to remember the baby by.  I know it won't be too great of an ultrasound since I will only be 11 weeks and 1 day, but at least it's peace of mind.

Hope everyone gets their BFPs soon.
