sore and bleeding vagina post sex?

Hi,

I had protected sex yesterday in the early hours. Since then it's been quite sore but I slept most the day so hadn't really noticed how bad it was. I went to the toilet this morning and urine made it burn and there was a bit of blood on the tissue. So I went to have a look in the mirror and it's red raw on the left inner labia and potentially in the vaginal opening. I've had pain before from sex but nothing like this.
Is this something I need to be concerned about? I don't usually use condoms so could it be a reaction (I didn't get any reaction in my mouth, though I was very sick yesterday which isn't my usual response to alcohol) or could it be something more serious?
