How soon can my girlfriend have sex after her period ends (she's on birth control)?

She just reached her placebo week. We use condoms regardless, but she is very paranoid either way. I told her, based on my knowledge, that even during placebo week we would be okay to have sex. We don't have sex on her period anyway, but the day after it ends and she takes a non-placebo pill then we are still protected. Of course this is all considering she is taking the pill correctly and at the same time each day (which she is).

I'm only bringing this up because her friend is preaching to her that her birth control pills don't begin working fully again until three days after her placebo week. To me that is purely misinformation that her friend has gotten. Can someone enlighten us?

She can call the toll-free number for her brand of pills, or look up FAQ on the Internet.

it doesn't matter what time of the month you have sex the chance for pregnancy is always still there. but the precautions u guys have taken are very good so she should be very safe. but if she wants there's an app that helps girls get pregnant so it tells them when to have sex and tells them when the chance of pregnancy is great or less. she can use that but have sex on the low chance days. hope this helped but tell her she doesn't have to be worried bc she is doing everything right
