How to stop period?

Hi I'm 24... And i come on my period on Saturday night. Tomorrow (Tuesday) me and my boyfriend have planned to spend the day together. And I don't want to be on my period as we won't be able to get comfortable. I've been drinking lots of water and been taking ibuprofen and had a hot bath to try to stop it.. But wondered if they was anything else I could do or take to stop them completely for this month?

Thanks

Hello,
If the periods have started then you cannot stop them. You can postpone your periods by taking norethisterone which is often used to postpone a period. The dose is 5mg three times a day starting 3-4 days before a period is due. It can be continued for up to 2 weeks or so until you want to have a period.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Ibuprofen and hot baths will not stop your period, sorry.  The only way would be if you were taking birth control in such a way that you skipped a few periods at a time.
