Where are these? When I saw your phrase "my bikini line," I thought you meant the usual thing people mean when they say a bikini line, which is at the top of the pubes, where sometimes women shave a little off so they can wear a lower bikini. Then you mentioned thicker thighs and friction, and being unable to walk, which made it sound like you were talking about under the crotch.
Obviously if these were just popping up randomly on your skin somewhere on your lower abdomen, that would be very weird. Above the pubes would be a little unusual but might be possible if perhaps the button of your jeans was made of nickel and you were getting contact dermatitis from the metal. Under the crotch would not be unusual at all. It sounds like you're getting repeated clogged pores that get infected. Glad you are going to a doctor, he or she should be able to figure out why it's happening now. Be ready to talk about your diet, meds, vitamins, periods, hormones, shaving patterns, and anything that changed in the last year. If no answer, go to a dermatologist. Try to get in when you have an active one so the doctor can see what you are talking about. Failing that, take some photos when you have one. Put a coin next to it for scale, and snap away. That way the doctor will have something to go by.
