I have a vaginal hematoma due to a physical assaul, how long does it usually take?

Went to the hospital and followed up with the referral doctor (whose are completely inept.) Im thinking on following up with my gynecologist; however, I had an MRI and a Vaginal Ultrasound done so now waiting for the results till I can decide on what to do.

They prescribed:
Ibuprofen 400MG
Acetaminophen #4
Ambien 5mg

In addition:
I tried baths of Epson Salt
Ice
Arnica

I only take it when it hurts, but its most of the time that am standing or seating for too long. I have tried my doctor but every time I called its nightmare, waiting on their call back!

Like I said my biggest concern is that I want this "thing" gone, its not as swollen but it hurts and I'm afraid if I do my regular activities like go back to work will make it worst, but I am so tired of resting. Help!

So sorry about all you are going through!  I would keep trying to call your doctor- I know they can be super difficult to get a ahold of and sometimes getting through the system is just aggravating.  I'd personal, become that annoying person that calls until they call back- especially if it's been a while since they returned your call.  Another option is also to locate a new gynecologist that does return calls- this kind of thing is important to return a call on.
