Imbalance hormone

Is it ok to have sex when you got out off a hospital for hormone imbalance about 8 day and they put you on birth control or do you wait

Since they said follow up in two weeks, I would definitely wait those two weeks, until you see the Dr. You may not know what is going on in your body, and a Dr will be able to help when he checks you at your next appt.

After that, I would highly suggest you follow the recommendations of waiting the full month... Or please use condoms.

Hi there and welcome.  so, you are saying you saw the doctor for hormonal imbalances and irregular period and they put you on birth control to regulate you?  Great!  I would follow the instructions that came with the pill you are taking.  I am a big fan of waiting a full month but two weeks is sometimes what the instructions say.  I personally wouldn't risk it.  NOT worth an unplanned pregnancy.  So, use condoms during this initial time of being on the pill.  good luck
