Is brown period normal after getting off the pill?

Okay so I was on the pill for exactly two weeks in the beginning of June. I stopped taking my pill so that my husband and I can try for a baby, however my first period came on July 7th, lasted 5 days (as normally) but it was brown. Is this normal after getting off the pill? Will my next period become normal after the brown period or not? My next period will be on August 4th so hopefully my last period is just reacting to getting off the pill. What do you guys think? My husband and I are still trying to get pregnant so hopefully this next period will be normal and I can stop worrying about what's going on with my body. Also I am currently taking prenatal vitamins to boost our chances of getting pregnant so hopefully all will go well!

Brown blood is just blood that's a little older than red blood.  You can experience this in your cycle regardless of being on the pill or not.  It's not abnormal at all.  Good luck TTC!

Sounds pretty normal. The more
You "try" the better chance of success! You could check out the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". It is a GREAT resource that puts things in an easy to understand way, and gives a ton of understanding on how our bodies work. Best of luck to you guys!
