Is it normal to be passing tissue post d and c?

I had my d&c last tuesday and didn't have any bleeding the day after. Last thursday I started having bloody discharge and it is stil going on.  I believe that the bloody discharge is normal but I have also passed small amounts of brown and grey tissue over the past couple days. Is that normal? Or, shall I contact my doctor? Do you think that I may need another d&c?

Thanks. I am going to the dr today. I took an hpt and got a very bright bfp.  Not good. I also did an opk and got a bfp. What does this mean? Do you have lh in your system if you still have hcg? The opk was even brighter than the hcg. Very upset and confused. Don't want to have to have another d&c but I know that I will.  Thanks for your help.

I would contact your dr just to be sure.  I would think you should not be passing anything like that if you had a D&C.  I had a D&C in Sept of 2003 and started cramping really bad and come to find out they had left a peice of placental tissue at the tip of my uterus.  I had to have a second D&C that they did with u/s to make sure they got it all and the second one worked.  I even got pg again in Dec of 2003 and carried to term.  Good Luck.  Sorry you had to go thru this.  Take Care
