Is it normal?

Does anyone else get super nauseous on their period? I've never had it before, but the entire day today I've been extremely nauseous. Almost to the point of puking. Just wondering if this is normal for other women? Thanks!

I have experienced nausea in the past as a PMS symptom, as well as on the first day of a period. I have also read that it can be normal to some, or a sign of hormone imbalance in others. No fun either way! Ginger & peppermint definitely can help.

I never experienced nausea before while on my period until after having my second child. I feel as though my cycle/hormones around this time are still not normal,  since having my baby 20 months ago. I even feel a foggy, almost hung-over feeling as well. I have read nausea can be normal, but I sure wish it would go away! Ginger and peppermint tea seem to help me.
