Found A Lost Tampon

Hi..
I've not been feeling well for about a week gradually worse
I had this nagging feeling it was a retained tampon
Today my husband checked...i had checked a few times to no avail
Today he found a tampon and removed it! I still feel quite poorly..  nauseas... dizzy... in very bad bad pain...shakey.. light headed...sweaty....

Should I see a Dr...or will improve no it's out

Oh lordy, it happens but is unpleasant, isn't it?  I consider myself smart and one to take care of myself and **I** had this happen once too.  I about died.  I didn't do anything after.  Nothing else happened.  I guess the worry is PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) and you can get checked by your doctor if you have symptoms (pain is typically a definite component of PID almost like sepsis pain, very noticeable. ).   Mostly, it smelled like . . . bad.  Just bad.  And then it cleared.  I didn't even get a yeast infection from it.  So, up to you to if you want to see a doctor.  This happens from time to time with women and most are just fine.  But if you continue to have symptoms, then ya, see your doc.  Hats off to your husband for finding and removing!  That's a gross thing to discover and it's great he helped you out!
